The grand ceremony of traffic opening of No. 210 road and the north section of No. 62 road in the Kingdom of Cambodia supervised by our company was held on December 13. Mr. Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Mr. He Leping, Charge d'Affaires of China's Embassy in Cambodia, Mr. Jin Yuan, Commercial Counselor, dozens of ministerial officials from the government of Cambodia and over 5000 local people participated in the traffic opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.
        Mr. He Leping, the representative of Charge d'Affaires of China's Embassy in Cambodia expressed in the ceremony on behalf of the Chinese government that China will support the Kingdom of Cambodia to strengthen infrastructure construction as always, continue to provide aid for disaster relief work in Cambodia and constantly deepen the friendly communications between the people of China and Cambodia.
        Mr. Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, spoke highly in the address of the friendly national policies of China with neighbors and expressed sincere thanks for the timely assistance provided for the government and people in the Kingdom of Cambodia regarding the catastrophic flood disaster recently. He also expressed gratitude to the efforts and contributions made by Chinese constructors in Cambodia in recent years, and said the newly built road will bring convenience for the development of local tourism and economy, prompt the communication and exchange between Cambodia and Thailand, and realize the peace and development of border area. 
        In the traffic opening ceremony, Prime Minister Mr. Hun Sen awarded the “High-level Medal of Honor of National Cooperation” to Mr. Xiao Xinming, the General Manager, and Mr. Zhang Chaoying of Guangzhou Wanan Construction Supervision Co., Ltd.
        This project is commenced on December 10th, 2008, in which, the north section of No. 62 road starts from Tbaeng Meanchey, provincial capital of Preah Vihear Province and ends at Preah Vihear Temple in the north with the total length of 110km. No. 210 road is in east-west direction, starting from the north section of No. 62 road and ending at Srayang-Kohkae in the west with the total length of 34km. The project is constructed with the fund of preferential export buyer’s credit of China and the total contract price is USD 57.8 million.

Postscript: The awarding of Medal of Honor to Chinese construction administer by Prime Minister himself is the first time for the government of Cambodia. This is a highly appreciation from the government and the people of Cambodia for the work of Chinese constructors. This kind of affirmation is more of a kind of great honor whether for the company or for the individual when it is upgraded to national level.
