The Lome ring road project aided by China and supervised by our company in Togo has been officially commenced under the leadership of Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office of Chinese Embassy in Togo, and the active collaboration of construction company and design company.
The newly built Lome ring road starts from Port of Lome in the southeast corner of Lome and ends at the border region of Togo and Ghana. It connects the main arterial roads of Togo, including No.2, No.34, No.1 and No.5 road successively, and covers the eastern and northern region of Lome. The completion of its construction will diverge the through traffic and urban traffic of Lome, speed up the cargo turnover in the Port of Lome, facilitate the traffic conversion among all arterial highways in this area and make the communication of Togo with the adjacent country Ghana and Benin become more convenient. Meanwhile, it will shorten the detention time of vehicles in the city and thereby alleviate the pressure of urban traffic in Lome.
Meanwhile, the completion of the construction of Lome ring road will bring a whole new feeling for the people in Togo, create business opportunity of urban construction and further accelerate the speed of urban construction.
