Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of Aided Mauritania Friendship Port Sand-retaining Dike and Dredging Project
On November 27, 2014, the commencement ceremony of Aided Mauritania Friendship Port Sand-retaining Dike Dredging Project supervised by our company was held. Sun Zhan, Charge d'Affaires from Chinese Embassy in Mauritania, Yang Peipei, the Counselor of The Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office, M.Ismaïl Ould Sadegh, Minister from Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning and Land Renovation of Mauritania, Merck Karl, Director of Mauritania Harbor Bureau, and relevant personnel from Chinese party attended the foundation stone laying ceremony.
The construction period of this project is 19 months. The project is composed by 257m gravity caisson structure sand-retaining dike and dredging work of previous friendship port 1#, 2# and 3# berths. Now, all personnel and equipment of units participating in construction have entered to the site. The holding of foundation laying ceremony marks the project will officially enter to the busy execution stage.
