Commencement ceremony of Boali No. 3 hydropower station project aided by China in Central African
The grand commencement ceremony of Boali No. 3 hydropower station and its supporting transmission and transformation project aided by China to Central Africa and supervised by our company was held on November 28, 2011. Mr. Bozize, the President of Central Africa, ministerial officials of Central Africa and mission in Central Africa, Mr. Sun Haichao, Chinese Ambassador in Central Africa, Mr. Liu Baoyi, Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office of the Chinese Embassy, etc. participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony. The President of Central Africa Bozize and Ambassador Sun Haichao made important speeches.
Boali No. 3 hydropower station and its supporting transmission and transformation project in Central Africa is one of the relatively larger project in China’s foreign-aid projects this year. The total construction cost of this project is nearly RMB 200 million yuan. The project includes the installation of 2 sets 5MW generating units, newly building of C substation, and the newly construction of three transmission and transformation lines from No.3 power station to No.2 power station, from C power station to A power station and from C power station to B power station. The completion of construction of this project will greatly alleviate the tension of power consumption in place such as Bangui, the capital of Central Africa, and has special important significance and far-reaching political influence. Therefore, the high-level leaders of China and Central Africa pay great attention to this project. The implementation of this project will deepen the relationship of the people in two countries, prompt the bilateral relation to move forward and build a new monument for the friendship of people in China and Central Africa.
